All municipal roadsides will be mowed each season, with select, high traffic roads getting mowed twice.

Brush Mulching
Brush mulching is completed along municipal right-of-ways during the winter months to control suckering and spreading of undesired vegetation. Ditches are cleared to the edge of the right-of-way to improve visibility for traffic, reduce snow catch, and control the spread of tree stands.
Landowners may request brush mulching along the municipal right-of-way within their land. Mulching is limited to one mulch width from the municipal right-of-way. These programs are available free of charge to assist with small areas and along the rights-of-way.
